Our Federal Government Client is seeking a Release and Deployment Managers and and Coordinators
This is a long-term contract role until 30 June 2026 with possible extension options, located at our client’s Canberra office onsite.
As the selected candidate, you will:
• Manage the Release and Deployment Management Coordinators (RELM5 only)
• Set RDM policy and ensure appropriate tools, resources, and automation are in place (RELM5 only)
• Review and monitor activities across Release Planning, Scheduling, Testing, Deployment, and Closure
• Provide critical release authorisation and serve as escalation point (RELM5 only)
• Confirm submitted releases are valid, complete, and accurate (RELM4 only)
• Manage interactions with National Coordinators and escalate when required
• Ensure adherence to release and deployment governance
• Support Post Implementation Review (PIR) and assist in reporting and dashboard creation
• Coordinate multinational deployment activities and maintain release package integrity
• Ensure dependencies, Early Life Support, and back-out strategies are managed
• Participate in CAB meetings and governance forums
• Combine changes into release packages and schedule deployments
• Ensure releases are tracked, tested, installed, verified, or backed out
• Support process updates and improvements
To be successful in this role you should have:
• Proven experience in release and deployment management in complex environments
• Experience managing or coordinating multinational or coalition ICT service operations
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and governance frameworks
• Strong coordination, communication, and reporting skills
• Experience participating in Change Advisory Boards and governance forums
It is desirable if you have:
• Prior experience in Defence or Five-Eyes (FVEY) coalition environments
• Experience with Pegasus Program or similar multinational ICT operations
• Familiarity with 24/7 network operations and service transition functions
Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian citizens with an active NV1 clearance with ability to obatin NV2.
