About the Role: Our Federal Government Client is seeking a Project Manager (EL1) – CCC AV/VC Delivery & AV/VC Catalogue Development. This is a long-term contract role for 18 months with up to 12 months extension, located at our client’s Canberra (ACT) offices, onsite.

As the selected candidate, you will:
• Lead the end-to-end delivery of the AV/VC scope for the Caroline Chisholm Centre (CCC) capital works project.
• Support procurement, tender assessment, contract engagement and vendor management for AV/VC technologies.
• Oversee design finalisation, construction coordination, installation, commissioning, testing and handover.
• Develop an agency-wide AV/VC Room Catalogue, including standardised room types, BoMs, deployment frameworks and support models.
• Review and interpret technical documentation, including AV designs, engineering drawings, schematics and network requirements.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary stakeholders across property, ICT, cyber security, building services, and external delivery partners.
• Produce structured project documentation including plans, risk registers, cost models, business cases, reports and governance papers.
• Ensure AV/VC solutions meet safety, security, performance and enterprise architecture requirements.

To be successful in this role you should have:
• Proven experience managing ICT-enabled or AV/VC delivery projects in construction, fit-out, enterprise or government environments.
• Demonstrated capability coordinating multidisciplinary technical, construction and business stakeholders.
• Strong experience preparing and maintaining project documentation.
• Ability to interpret and review technical and engineering documentation.
• High-level written and verbal communication skills.
AVIXA CTS certification (current or previously held).

It is desirable if you have:
• Diploma-level Project Management qualification.
• Experience delivering AV/VC systems integrated with building services (power, structured cabling, HVAC, POE++) and experience developing AV/VC standards, catalogues or deployment frameworks.
• Vendor/manufacturer certifications or strong partnerships with suppliers such as Crestron, Extron, Poly, Think Logical, Siemon or Systimax.
• Experience working within large APS or enterprise environments with structured governance and audit obligations.

Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian citizens with the ability to obtain NV1 security clearance.
