About the Role:
Our Telecommunications Client is seeking a Project Management & Analysis - PMO Analyst.  This is a long-term contract role 12 months with extension options, located at our client’s Canberra office. 

As the selected candidate, you will:
  • Ensure adherence to project governance frameworks, methodologies, and internal controls
  • Conduct regular quality checks of project documentation and maintain audit readiness
  • Prepare high-quality board and governance packs for steering committees and leadership meetings
  • Produce clear, timely reports and dashboards on project status, risks, and KPIs for senior stakeholders
  • Support governance forums and enforce compliance across the portfolio
 
To be successful in this role you should have:
  • Proven experience in a PMO or project support role with a strong governance and compliance focus
  • Demonstrated ability to take professional meeting minutes and produce executive-level board packs
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, PMBOK, Agile)
  • Proficiency in tools such as the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and project management tools
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills
 
It is desirable if you have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field
  • Master's degree in Business Administration or a related field (desired)
  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) (desired)
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) (desired)

Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian citizens with the ability to obtain a Baseline security clearance.
