We are seeking a highly experienced Program/Senior Project Manager to oversee and deliver a large-scale network security program.
This role requires deep expertise in network infrastructure and security, alongside a demonstrated ability to manage complex, high-impact technical initiatives from initiation through to completion. Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and vendor management capabilities are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Program & Project Delivery
- Oversee end-to-end delivery of a multi-stream network program, ensuring alignment to strategic goals, timelines, budget, and quality standards.
- Lead initiatives including major network upgrades, segmentation programs, Zero Trust enablement, and Secure Administration implementation.
- Leverage a solid understanding of modern network technologies (SDN, Cloud Networking, Routing/Switching, Firewalls) and contemporary security practices (Zero Trust, least privilege).
- Manage all project lifecycle phases—planning, resourcing, risk/issue management, change control, and dependency management.
- Establish and operate effective governance structures with clear roles, responsibilities, and decision-making pathways.
- Lead working groups and Project Control Boards, preparing high-quality reporting, insights, and decision papers.
Forecast, manage, and report on program budgets with accuracy and financial discipline.
Deliver a robust communication plan for technical teams, business stakeholders, and executive leadership.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships across Infrastructure, Cyber Security, Business Units, and vendor partners, ensuring alignment and transparent expectations.
- Issue & Conflict Resolution: Serve as an escalation point, guiding teams through challenges and removing barriers to delivery.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years managing large, complex, high-risk technical programs in enterprise environments.
- Network Program Delivery: Demonstrated experience leading major network infrastructure initiatives—particularly network segmentation and secure administration/hardening projects.
- Technical Competency: Strong grounding in network architectures, security best practices, and modern automation/cloud practices (e.g., IaC principles).
- Communication & Influence: Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive outcomes without direct line authority.
