Principal Spatial Analyst
As a Principal Spatial Analyst, you will lead spatial capability within the team, transforming geospatial data into actionable insights that inform decision-making on key digital and data policy areas.
Your expertise will drive projects from concept to completion, ensuring high-quality outputs under tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret complex geographical datasets to support planning and policy development.
- Lead GIS technology use, including Esri’s ArcGIS Suite, and maintain data governance standards.
- Deliver mapping and data requests, prepare reports, and provide technical advice.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and mentor team members.
- Proven experience in spatial technologies, advanced spatial analysis, and map-making.
- Strong knowledge of Esri’s ArcGIS Suite and database management.
- Experience in land use planning and data governance is highly desirable.
- Experience/ knowledge of Python or R for geospatial analysis and SQL
