Our client is seeking an experienced and driven Platform Project Manager to lead the delivery of a cutting-edge visualisation platform built on Microsoft Azure. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful execution of a complex, high-impact technology initiative, leveraging modern cloud-native technologies and agile delivery practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end project management lifecycle including project planning, execution, stakeholder engagement, and delivery oversight of a cloud-based visualisation platform.
- Manage risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and maintain comprehensive project registers and lessons learned logs.
- Oversee project budgets and ensure financial tracking, reporting, and reconciliation are maintained accurately.
- Produce and present Project Status Reports (PSRs), board packs, briefing notes, and executive updates to support project governance and decision-making.
- Direct and motivate cross-functional delivery teams, ensuring clear role allocation, resource management, and performance alignment across internal and vendor teams.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Tertiary qualifications or industry-recognised certifications (e.g. PRINCE2, AgilePM) in project management or a related discipline.
- Experience managing complex IT or platform projects, ideally in large-scale technology environments.
- Demonstrated experience in managing platform builds leveraging Azure services and modern web technologies (.Net Core, React, APIs).
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with executives and technical teams.
- Proven ability to deliver structured project governance, reporting, and team leadership in a high-compliance, delivery-focused environment.
