We are working with an Australian government department for multiple Senior Platform Engineer opportunities.
About the role
You would be involved in:
- Designing, building, and maintaining Azure infrastructure solutions including experience in implementing, configuring, and maintaining EntraID & Azure services/infrastructure, Azure Policy and blueprints, virtual machines, networking, storage and identity and access management including RBAC
- Implementing and managing continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines that automate deployment processes and ensuring efficient delivery.
- Monitoring and troubleshooting Azure cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Creating comprehensive documentation for application configurations, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and troubleshooting guides.
- Automating the provisioning and management of infrastructure with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and utilise Git for version control.
To be successful for the role, you would ideally be:
- Experience in implementing AWS and Azure solutions
- Experience in implementing Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using IBM Terraform, IBM Vault (formerly Hashicorp) and using Git repositories (GitLab, GitHub)
- Extensive hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure and services, with proven ability to design, implement, and manage scalable cloud solutions.
- Strong experience in building and deploying DevOps practices, tools, and continuous delivery pipelines, including GitLab, Artifactory, and Jira, to streamline development workflows.
