About the Role
Our Federal Government Client is seeking a Lead Service Designer.
This is a long-term 12 month contract role with three 12 month extension options which can be exercised, located at our client’s Canberra office with hybrid working arrangements.
As the selected candidate, you will:
- Design and contribute to the end-to-end journey of services across transactions, products, content, regulatory, and business processes.
- Collaborate with service designers, user researchers and stakeholders across the multiple programs and the department to form the bigger strategic picture.
- Ensure that service design aligns to the program objectives.
- Identify and prototype concepts to transform the service based on user needs.
- Work in an agile manner to deliver design and research activities.
- Work to the Service Design and Delivery Process and Digital Service Standard.
- Support the Product Manager to develop product strategies and design roadmaps.
To be successful in this role you should have:
- Extensive experience in service design for large scale transformations, and experience working in complex environments with multiple related digital services.
- Strong track record working in agile and multi-disciplinary teams, while taking a human-centred approach
- A growth and collaborative mindset
- Strong communication skills, and the ability to work as a team to bring your stakeholders on the journey
- Extensive experience in aligning your service design work across multiple product teams, and to a programs and organisational strategic goals
It is desirable if you have:
- Experience in the regulatory environment
