We’re on the lookout for a curious, motivated Junior Engineer who’s keen to dive into the world of cloud platforms, automation, and system monitoring. We’re offering an exciting opportunity for a Junior Engineer with 1 -2 years’ experience to join a collaborative team working on large-scale digital services. This role is perfect for someone with foundational experience in monitoring tools, scripting, and cloud environments who’s ready to take the next step and learn from experienced professionals.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Investigating and resolving performance and reliability issues across ICT systems and applications.
- Improving monitoring capabilities and refining alerting mechanisms, including those related to security events.
- Designing and maintaining automated workflows for alert escalation and incident resolution.
- Collaborating with support teams to troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
- Responding to real-time alerts and ensuring service continuity.
- Staying informed on emerging cyber threats and trends.

What We’re Looking For
Essential Skills & Experience
- Basic experience with observability platforms such as Dynatrace or Splunk.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like SPL, SQL, Python, or DQL.
- Good experience working with AWS and/or Azure cloud environments.
- Good understanding of security protocols, risk management, and compliance standards.
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools, especially Fortinet.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar technical role within a large-scale ICT environment.
Desirable Attributes
- Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Some experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools like GitLab CI or GitHub Actions.
- Ability to diagnose performance issues and recommend improvements.
- Comfortable working collaboratively with cross-functional technical teams.
