About the Role:
Our Global Consulting Client is seeking an ITSM Governance Lead. This is a full-time permanent opportunity, based in Canberra.
As the selected candidate, you will:
- Lead ITSM governance initiatives to ensure alignment with organizational standards and service excellence.
- Collaborate across teams to drive consistent service management practices and continuous improvement.
- Provide strategic oversight and guidance on ITSM processes and compliance.
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement, communicate progress, and gather feedback effectively.
- Identify and mitigate risks impacting service management outcomes.
- Use project management tools to track deliverables and enhance team productivity.
To be successful in this role you should have:
- Proven experience in ITSM governance or program/project management.
- Intermediate proficiency in Program/Project Management methodologies and tools.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to lead teams and influence decision-making across functions.
It is desirable if you have:
- Exposure to risk management practices.
- Experience working in secure or government environments.
- Familiarity with service management frameworks such as ITIL.
- Knowledge of security protocols and working within environments requiring security clearances.
Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian citizens with an existing Baseline or NV1 security clearance.
