Join a leading insurance organisation that leverages advanced data and analytics capabilities to drive customer safety, operational efficiency, and smarter decision-making.
We're seeking a skilled full-stack developer to join the Counter-Fraud & Intelligence team within a digital business unit, focusing on the ongoing development and optimisation of a highly sophisticated data analytics and operational platform. This platform underpins core fraud detection and prevention operations, supporting teams across the organisation.
What You'll Be Doing:
• Build and maintain full-stack applications to support fraud analytics and intelligence operations.
• Develop data pipelines using Python and PySpark, enabling high-quality insights and real-time decision-making.
• Work with advanced tools to create intuitive user interfaces, workflows, dashboards, and visualisations.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to translate business problems into scalable technical solutions.
• Contribute to DevOps processes, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks to ensure platform reliability and performance.
• Troubleshoot and optimise applications to enhance usability, efficiency, and security.
What We’re Looking For:
• 5+ years in full-stack development with strong experience in data-driven platforms, similar to Databricks, Snowflake, or Palantir Foundry
• Proficiency in Python, PySpark, and JavaScript.
• Experience building UI components, data visualisations, and operational dashboards.
• Solid understanding of data integration, ETL, and modelling best practices.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools like Git, Jenkins, Docker, and cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Comfortable working in agile environments and collaborating across cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication skills and a problem-solving mindset.
Desirable:
• Experience working in fraud detection or risk management environments.
• Knowledge of data governance and security practices.
• Background in insurance, finance, or other regulated industries.
What’s In It for You:
• Be part of a purpose-driven team helping reduce fraud and keep customers safe.
• Work with a talented and collaborative digital and analytics team.
• Join an organisation that values diversity, inclusion, and continuous learning.
• Flexible work environment with opportunities for growth and innovation.
Apply now to make an impact in a role that truly matters. Help us power better decisions through data and smart technology.
