We are seeking an experienced SAP Payroll Technical Architect / Technical Business Analyst to join a major ERP transformation program in the public sector. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in a complex SAP S/4HANA implementation, focusing on payroll, HR, time, and attendance.
About the Role
As part of a high-profile ERP program, you will be responsible for the design, configuration, and deployment of SAP Payroll solutions, as well as supporting payroll-related data cleansing and migration activities. You will work closely with Payroll and HR Managers, bridging business needs and technical solutions to ensure a seamless transition to SAP S/4HANA.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the configuration and design of SAP Payroll, Time, and Attendance processes.
- Analyse payroll variances across leave, allowances, and entitlements in a government framework.
- Collaborate with Payroll and HR Managers to align business requirements with technical solutions.
- Support payroll and HR data migration, mapping, cleansing, and transformation into S/4HANA and SuccessFactors.
- Validate payroll system integration with HR, Finance, and third-party systems.
- Support payroll reconciliation, testing, parallel runs, and cutover strategies.
- Provide technical documentation, training, and post-go-live support.
- Proven experience as a Payroll Technical Architect or Technical Business Analyst.
- Strong expertise in SAP ECC and S/4HANA payroll configuration and design.
- Hands-on experience with payroll, time, and attendance implementations.
- Ability to calculate payroll variances (leave, allowances, entitlements) within complex government or enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of payroll data migration and cleansing activities.
- Exposure to SAP SuccessFactors integration.
- Knowledge of data quality tools (e.g., SAP Information Steward) desirable.
- Experience in large-scale ERP programs, preferably in the government or utilities sector.
