About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Dynamics Developer to join a major enterprise transformation initiative within one of Australia’s largest local government organisations. This role is pivotal in delivering modern, customer-focused solutions that replace legacy systems and enhance business capabilities.
You will work on two significant programs:
- Future Development Services Enablement (FDSE) – a five-year program modernising development services systems.
- CaRS Workforce Management System Replacement (WMSR) – upgrading regulatory systems to meet compliance and improve customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop custom modules, plugins, workflows, and extensions for Dynamics 365 using C#, JavaScript, and .NET.
- Customise user interfaces, forms, views, and dashboards to meet business needs.
- Integrate Dynamics 365 with other systems using Power Automate, Azure Logic Apps, and APIs.
- Manage data migrations and ensure data integrity across platforms.
- Optimise system performance and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Conduct testing, debugging, and maintain comprehensive documentation.
- Collaborate with analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives.
- Provide ongoing support, updates, and enhancements for Dynamics 365 environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 development.
- Strong skills in C#, JavaScript, .NET, and Dynamics 365 APIs.
- Experience with Power Automate, Azure Logic Apps, and system integration.
- Knowledge of SQL, web services, and data management practices.
- Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Developer Associate (or similar) preferred.
- Technical expertise in Dynamics 365 development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent collaboration and communication abilities.
- Attention to detail and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
