- Seeking Enterprise & Data Governance Manager for our key local government client. This role oversees the strategic and operational management of our client's information assets, ensuring compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements while advancing records-management excellence and elevating data as a strategic organizational asset.
- The position provides strategic direction and oversight for records lifecycle management, data governance practices, digital transformation initiatives, and the integration of data across departments to advance our client's business requirements and objectives.
- Lead a high-performance, values-driven culture aligned with our client's Leadership Blueprint.
- Develop and maintain data governance policies and frameworks that enable data-driven decisions and responsible AI use.
- Ensure compliance with emerging privacy, AI governance, and cybersecurity requirements, proactively managing risks.
- Oversee records lifecycle management and establish compliant retention schedules.
- Implement and manage legal holds and ensure regulatory compliance across all information assets.
- Manage physical and digital archives to ensure secure, efficient, and accessible record storage.
- Lead document control processes and support audits related to information management.
- Monitor compliance and provide regular reporting against internal and statutory requirements.
- Support data quality and integration initiatives to ensure accurate, consistent, and reliable data sharing.
Requirements:
- Experience contributing to digital transformation efforts and cross-department data integration projects.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
- Relevant qualifications in information management, data governance, records management, or a related field.
