We’re seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to support cloud delivery within a large-scale AWS environment. You’ll work across Agile teams to automate deployments, enhance scalability, and maintain secure, high-availability infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimise AWS infrastructure, including ECS Fargate, EC2, VPC, DNS, networking, and firewalls.
- Automate build, deployment, and configuration processes using PowerShell and JSON/YAML.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, integrating automated testing and deployment.
- Deploy and manage Docker containers across environments.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure and application issues.
- Collaborate with developers, testers, and product owners in Agile Scrum teams.
- Document system configurations, processes, and runbooks.
- Proven experience working with AWS services (ECS Fargate, EC2, VPC, networking, DNS).
- Strong PowerShell scripting and automation background.
- Hands-on experience with Docker (build, deploy, troubleshoot).
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and related tools.
- Experience with JSON/YAML configuration management.
- Must be an Australian Citizen - active Baseline clearance preferred.
- Ability to work onsite a minimum of 3 days per week.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform.
- Familiarity with Linux administration and shell scripting
