About the role
You will be the main point of contact for end user IT support and problem resolution at our client site for 2 days a week, while also providing remote support on another site. This is an on-site position located at our client site.
Responsibilities
- Desktop PC & Laptop Hardware installation, setup and configuration, problem diagnosis and resolution.
- Support of MS Teams meeting room equipment.
- General IT troubleshooting and assistance as required on site.
- Manage incidents, knowledge base articles, tasks and assets within the IT Service Management tool to a high standard and within SLAs.
- Keeping the stock, computer and communications rooms tidy and in order.
- Managing E-waste.
- Facilitating user training sessions.
- Assisting with project work and planned activities.
- Occasional participation in after hours / weekend support & deployment activities as required.
Skills and experience
Ideally you will be qualified in an IT related discipline and have experience in supporting IT technologies including PC & Laptop Hardware support, Windows 11, Outlook, MS Teams, MS Office and have a basic understanding of networking.
Your attention to detail, natural curiosity, ability in problem solving, planning and priority setting coupled with a strong focus on customer service will put you in good stead for this role.
A driver’s license is a must for this position, as you may occasionally be required to attend other sites.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to commit to regular and punctual attendance are critical.
