Decision Support Analyst - 3-6 month contract role with leading Banking Client!

We are hiring for one of our clients in the Baking and Financial Services space. Your main responsibility is to extract and present financial data to support informed business decisions with senior level stakeholders across the organisation. The role covers key finance functions like monthly reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, ensuring accurate insights for stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advanced financial modeling & forecasting – Creating Excel-based models to assess future financial performance
  • Stakeholder reporting & insights – Presenting financial trends to senior executives, board members, and investors in clear and actionable formats.
  • Monthly & quarterly reporting – Developing PowerPoint presentations with key performance indicators (KPIs), trend analysis, and strategic recommendations.
  • Decision support for business growth – Advising on financial strategies to enhance profitability and efficiency.
Must-Have Skills
  • Deep financial sector knowledge – Understanding of financial reporting standards, investment strategies, and risk assessment.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency – Expertise in financial modeling, scenario analysis, and data visualization.
  • Strong PowerPoint skills – Building compelling presentations for high-level stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication & stakeholder engagement – Persuasive storytelling with financial insights tailored for executives, investors, and regulators
