About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Data Centre Engineering – Technical Expert to join a high-performing team on a 12-month contract. This role will focus on supporting general DC operations and engineering tasks, delivering solutions across infrastructure, storage, and virtualization technologies.
This position is ideal for someone with strong data centre engineering skills who enjoys working across a broad technology stack rather than deep domain specialisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and maintain data centre infrastructure operations.
- Deliver engineering support across virtualization, storage, and server environments.
- Assist with configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization of DC technologies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient operations.
- Provide technical expertise on upgrades, migrations, and maintenance tasks.
- VMWare – VCF, vCenter, NSX, vSAN
- Microsoft – Active Directory Domain Services, Microsoft Server, SCCM/MECM
- RedHat Enterprise Linux
- Data Centre Load Balancing
- Data Centre Storage, Backup & Archive solutions
- Proven background in data centre engineering and operations.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across multi-technology environments.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment.
- Current NV1 Security Clearance is essential.
