About the role:
We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to design and deliver cutting-edge Business Intelligence and Analytics solutions for a government department in Brisbane.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Synapse Analytics, ADLS2, SQL, and Python.
- Build semantic models and reports with Power BI and Azure Analysis Services.
- Collaborate in an Agile environment to meet reporting objectives.
- Create detailed solution design documents, including data models and source-to-target mappings.
- Maintain source code in Azure DevOps and perform unit testing.
- Demonstrated experience in MS SQL, Azure Data Services, Power BI, and data engineering best practices
- Experience in python programming
- Proven experience in complex Data Warehouses using the Microsoft Data Stack within an Azure or similar cloud-based environment
