This 9-month contract role offers the chance to work on high-value initiatives, with a strong focus on cloud security, vulnerability management, and endpoint protection. You'll bring a mix of technical expertise and stakeholder management, helping uplift security capabilities and reduce risk across critical platforms.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the implementation of cyber security uplift initiatives in a structured program environment
- Integrate with project and operational teams to deliver secure solutions
- Tune and manage security products like Microsoft Sentinel, Defender, and other SIEM tools
- Assist with cloud security controls across AWS and Azure environments
- Communicate cyber risks and solutions clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking and cyber security frameworks (ASD Essential 8, ISO27001, etc.)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, GitLab, Ansible)
- Hands-on experience with security tools such as Sentinel, Carbon Black, Defender, Palo Alto, F5
- Background in vulnerability management and hardening of Active Directory environments
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work within cross-functional teams
