Cyber Security BCP Specialist Location: Brisbane CBD

About the Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced Cyber Security Specialist with strong Business Continuity Planning (BCP) expertise to support a critical project focused on enhancing cyber resilience and continuity across its operations. This short-term contract offers the opportunity to work within a high-profile global organisation and contribute to strategic risk mitigation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and enhance existing BCP frameworks with a focus on cyber security threats
- Conduct risk assessments and identify vulnerabilities in current systems and processes
- Develop and implement cyber incident response and recovery plans
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with global security standards
- Provide expert advice on compliance, governance, and best practices in cyber resilience
- Proven experience in cyber security and business continuity planning
- Strong understanding of ISO 22301, NIST, and other relevant frameworks
- Ability to work independently and manage stakeholder expectations
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Previous experience in highly regulated industries is a plus
