Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of cloud engineers, fostering a high-performing, delivery-focused culture
- Define and execute the cloud infrastructure strategy aligned to enterprise goals and compliance frameworks
- Own the platform roadmap and drive implementation via modern DevSecOps and CI/CD practices
- Maintain and optimise cloud services across secure environments in accordance with the ISM Framework
- Collaborate with cybersecurity, architecture, and infrastructure teams to ensure secure, scalable solutions
- Translate cloud strategy into actionable product backlogs, managing prioritisation and operational stability
- Engage with internal stakeholders and vendors to align services with broader IT and business needs
- Demonstrated experience leading cloud infrastructure or platform teams within enterprise or regulated environments
- Strong technical background in at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Experience with cloud-native architecture, infrastructure as code (Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation), and CI/CD toolsets
- Working knowledge of secure infrastructure delivery aligned to frameworks such as the ISM, ASD Essential Eight, or IRAP
- Background in balancing infrastructure delivery with strategic platform uplift and governance
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills across technical and non-technical teams
