About the Role:
We are looking for a Cloud Security Specialist with a passion for safeguarding and enhancing Azure-based environments. In this role, you will combine proactive threat hunting with hands-on cloud engineering and infrastructure-as-code, playing a key part in strengthening our security posture.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively hunt for threats using Microsoft Defender for Cloud and Sentinel.
- Monitor, investigate, and respond to security alerts, incidents, and vulnerabilities across Azure environments.
- Design and manage infrastructure with Bicep, ARM templates, and Terraform for scalable, repeatable deployments.
- Develop and maintain Azure DevOps YAML pipelines to support secure continuous integration and deployment.
- Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of cloud engineering projects, from design and delivery to ongoing improvement.
- Configure and manage Azure resources including compute, storage, networking, and identity services.
- Analyse Azure cost and usage data to uncover inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in Azure cloud engineering and security.
- Strong knowledge of cloud security operations, including threat detection, incident response, and forensics.
- Expertise with Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Azure Sentinel, and other Azure-native security tools.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Bicep, ARM templates, or Terraform.
- Proficiency with Azure DevOps, including YAML pipelines, CI/CD, and source control management.
