Our Prestigious Client is seeking a Business Analyst. This is a permanent opprotunity, located at our client’s Canberra office, working onsite 5 days per week.

As the selected candidate, you will:
• Collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts to interpret, analyse and validate functional and non-functional requirements for gateway and guard solutions.
• Create, manage and refine product backlogs and user stories in an agile environment.
• Facilitate agile ceremonies, including backlog refinement, story mapping, sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Work closely with the Solution Architect to ensure requirements align with architectural vision and designated security technologies.
• Develop requirement specifications, process flows and technical documentation.
• Ensure requirements incorporate data-centric security principles for secure information exchange.
• Support UAT planning and execution to ensure solutions meet requirements and compliance needs.
• Facilitate workshops, review sessions and requirement walkthroughs with stakeholders.
• Act as the primary liaison between product owners and technical delivery teams.
• Assist with scope, risk, issue and change management activities.

To be successful in this role you should have:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst in complex IT environments.
• Experience working within Agile delivery frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
• Experience writing and managing user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Experience in secure information systems, networking or infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of requirements elicitation techniques and documentation standards.
• Familiarity with security concepts, data classification and networking fundamentals.
• Ability to interpret regulatory or compliance standards such as NATO STANAGs.
• Proficiency with analysis and agile lifecycle tools (Jira, Confluence, Visio, DOORS).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and stakeholder engagement capabilities.

It is desirable if you have:
• Industry certifications such as CBAP, CSPO, PMI-PBA or security certifications.
• Prior experience in Defence, National Security or NATO environments.
• Knowledge of Isode M-Guard, Palo Alto Networks or ArchTis security platforms.
• Understanding of cross-domain solutions and coalition interoperability concepts.

Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian citizens with a current NV1 security clearance.
