About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join the Business Engagement and Performance (Corporate Services) team and contribute to the Service Prioritisation Project. This project aims to develop and implement a framework to assess and prioritise Council services based on legal requirements, impact, cost, and strategic outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and document a service prioritisation framework to enable efficient resource allocation.
  • Analyse and prioritise Council services across business areas to optimise community impact.
  • Identify and separate mandatory vs discretionary activities within services.
  • Design a consistent, transparent approach to estimating impact and cost across diverse portfolios.
  • Facilitate workshops and engage stakeholders to gather requirements and validate processes.
  • Produce high-quality process maps and business documentation.
Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in enterprise environments.
  • Background in business transformation and process improvement projects.
  • Strong financial analytical skills for cost and impact modelling.
  • Expertise in process mapping and business process documentation.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills.
  • High-level written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Visio or equivalent.
