About the Role: Our Federal Government Client is seeking an Associate Service Desk Analyst. This is a long-term contract role until 30 June 2026, with two 6-month extension options, located onsite in Canberra (ACT).
As the selected candidate, you will:
• Build and deploy Windows devices using Intune and Standard Operating Environment (SOE) configurations.
• Develop and maintain the organisation’s SOE across laptops and desktops.
• Package and deploy applications, upgrades, and updates via Intune and SCCM.
• Create, maintain, and enforce device configuration and compliance policies in Intune.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and Level 3 support for Intune-managed devices.
• Implement ACSC Essential Eight controls and ensure endpoint security and compliance.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledgebase articles.
• Contribute to ongoing initiatives such as Windows 11 migration and endpoint analytics.
To be successful in this role you should have:
• Proven recent experience with Microsoft 365 Apps (M365).
• Strong application packaging and deployment experience.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting.
• Advanced Level 3 troubleshooting skills.
It is desirable if you have:
• Experience supporting Microsoft Intune and SCCM environments.
• Knowledge of ACSC Essential Eight implementation and endpoint security management.
• Familiarity with BitLocker, AppLocker/WDAC policies, and device compliance strategies.
• Experience contributing to large-scale initiatives such as Windows 11 migration.
Security Requirements: Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian citizens and able to obtain a Negative Vetting Level 1 (NV1) clearance.
