Peoplebank are looking for an Appian developer to join their client based in the Adelaide CBD (hybrid work set-up) to work on a large program of work.
 
Initially this is a 6 month contract, but with real possibility of longer term extensions.
 
Indeed, there is the option to work fully remotely from interstate(you MUST be based somewhere in Australia, with unrestricted full work rights). Noting, that you would be expected to travel to Adelaide for the first few days, at your own expense, for inductions etc.
 
This Appian Developer role is to work on a new project development on the Appian platform and additionally may need to support and or integrate existing applications.
 
Responsibilities  
  • Translate user stories into required functionality using the Appian platform.
  • Design, implement, enhance, and support Appian applications.
  • Guide Appian developers ensuring best practices are followed.
  • Participate peer reviews to ensure quality and knowledge transfer.
  • Prepare and maintain thorough system and application documentation.
  • Analyse and fix production defects.
 
Skills
  • Strong experience (3+ years ideally) with Appian BPM platform.
  • MySQL or similar relational database.
  • Skills for writing reusable common objects.
  • Experience in Agile software development- Working with JIRA and Kanban boards.
  • Experience working with Business Analysts and key stakeholders.
  • Appian certification would be highly regarded.
  • Experience with other programming knowledge (.Net, C#, Java or any OOP) would be highly regarded.
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS / Microsoft Azure) would be advantageous
