As an Information Management Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting governance, compliance, and operational excellence across information and data management functions. You will work closely with stakeholders across the business to ensure information assets are properly governed, accessible, and compliant with legislative and organisational requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting information management assessments, registers, and compliance documentation.
- Assisting with records sentencing, retention, and disposal activities.
- Contributing to the development of information governance policies, standards, and procedures.
- Maintaining information registers and ensuring accuracy, integrity, and completeness of data.
- Supporting compliance reporting aligned to frameworks such as the PSPF and National Archives requirements.
- Assisting with the delivery of information governance projects and training initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience in information management, records management, or information governance.
- Familiarity with Australian federal government information management requirements(desirable).
- Knowledge of records disposal and retention processes, compliance, and policy frameworks.
- Experience with Enterprise Content Management systems(e.g., TRIM, Objective, Content Manager, SharePoint).
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across business units.
