Our Federal Government Client is seeking a SAS Developer.

This is a long-term contract role from 1st July 2024 to 30th June 2025, with potential for extensions up to a maximum of 24 months. The location of work is in ACT, and alternate work locations and arrangements will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

As the selected candidate, you will:

* Develop reporting solutions using SAS programming code, SAS Enterprise Guide, and SAS Information Delivery Portal.

* Write and explain technical systems, problems, and outcomes using unambiguous language to non-technical staff.

* Ensure data integrity between source and destination systems.

* Analyze and evaluate complex business processes and requirements.

To be successful in this role you should have:

* Demonstrated 5+ years' experience in Teradata EDW environments & SAS tool suite within Government or industry equivalent.

* Proven experience and a record of accomplishment managing the delivery of project deliverables on time and of high quality.

* Demonstrated sound communication, negotiation, and liaison skills.

It is desirable if you have:

* Demonstrated 4+ years' experience in using the following tools: Teradata, SAS tool suite, SAS Enterprise Guide, and SAS Information Delivery Portal.

* Knowledge of SAS Teradata and proven experience in the use of ETL to Teradata EDW environments.

* Knowledge of Enterprise Data Warehouse platform.

* Demonstrated strong written communication skills explaining complex information using unambiguous language appropriate to the audience.

* Proven experience in designing and delivering data analytics solutions for large and complex projects, and the ability to work flexibly and accurately in an agile and/or rapid deployment methodology.

* Minimum Baseline security clearance required.

Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must have a Baseline security clearance.
