The role:
As a Project Manager specializing in AV and network technologies, you will play a crucial role in scoping, designing, implementing, testing, and accepting the AV and network systems essential for our client's City Campus. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead projects that make a real impact.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Project Management: Take charge of end-to-end project management, ensuring the successful delivery of complex AV and network initiatives in alignment with organizational methodologies.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and nurture strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, fostering collaboration across various domains.
- Resource Management: Oversee internal and external project resources, guaranteeing on-time, on-scope, and on-budget project delivery. Provide mentorship and leadership to fellow project managers.
- Compliance and Documentation: Ensure projects adhere to approved baselines, University policies, and finance guidelines. Maintain high-quality project documentation and provide regular reports.
- Security and Data Protection: Be responsible for safeguarding university data and systems by adhering to security policies and promptly addressing any vulnerabilities or breaches.
- Change Management: Implement process changes and IT systems across multiple business units, focusing on technology solutions within large-scale programs and projects.
Key experience:
- Project Management: Progressive experience in project management, including team leadership.
- AV and Network Expertise: Demonstrated proficiency in delivering enterprise-scale AV and network solutions.
- Construction Environments: Proven capability in deploying AV and network solutions within new building constructions.
- Technical Proficiency: Ability to interpret electrical and communication shop drawings, understanding data and audio-visual infrastructure, and general construction knowledge.
- Change Management: Proven experience in change management within large-scale programs.
- Stakeholder Relations: Strong capability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
