About the Role:

Our client is looking for Senior Third-Party Risk Officer on a contract basis. Working closely with business stakeholders you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the risks associated with third-party vendors, suppliers, and business partners. This role involves evaluating potential risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and developing strategies to mitigate risks while maintaining strong relationships with third-party stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that the organisation's Technology Policies, Standards, Functional Rules, and specific requirements are fulfilled.
  • Assist divisions with identifying, quantifying, and reporting third party risks and incidents using the organisation's framework, systems, and subject matter expertise.
  • Assist the teams to execute and report on third party risk management and procurement risk controls assurance plan.
  • Help stakeholders to understand deviations from policies and guidelines, preparation of risk acceptances.
  • Coordinate and support the preparation of risk assessments.
  • Document assessment & revision

Skills and Experience:

  • At least 8 years of relevant working experience in Risk Management ideally in the financial / insurance industry.
  • Excellent knowledge of regulatory requirements, and of standards on continuity practices and frameworks. E.g., CPS232, CPS220, CPS230, CPS231
  • Supports subject-matter expert areas in conducting relevant risks assessment processes and assists in documenting identified risks assessments results.
  • Demonstrates ownership and management of risk and compliance across your work.
