Technical Data Engineer
Key accountabilities
- Collaborate with managers within the organisation to establish, improve and implement processes, tools and frameworks for successful data delivery and management
- Data Architecture - Design and implement robust, scalable, and efficient data pipelines to collect, transform, and distribute data that supports the company's growing business intelligence systems and services.
- ETL & Reporting - Develop, build, maintain, and improve ETL and reporting.
- Data Governance, Ensure data integrity, governance, quality, and security within the on-premise database and data lake cloud solutions.
- Optimisation and Automation - Optimise data systems for performance, efficiency, and output.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Ability to work collaboratively with vendors and other project members
- Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, Azure Data Platform (Data Factory, Data Lake, SQL Database)
- Previous experience in Microsoft Fabric (preferred)
- Machine Learning modelling experience
- Previous working experience Azure Data Modelling and Tabular Modelling
