Peoplebank are recruiting for an ICT Service Desk Analyst to work for their client, based in the Adelaide CBD, where you will be working as part of their weekend shift team, starting on the 14th October.

These are NOT entry level roles, and prior in-depth ICT Service Desk / Helpdesk experience is mandatory.

The Weekend shift pattern means you must be willing and able to work the following days/hours (for which you will be paid an extra 30% on top of the normal base rate of pay):

  • Saturday: 7am to 7pm (with two 30min breaks)
  • Sunday: 7am to 7pm (with two 30min breaks)
  • Monday: 8am to 5:45pm (with 1 x 45min break)


Please note, you will be required to undergo 8 weeks of training at the start of this role (Mid-October), which will be Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm.

Once you have completed the training, you will move to working on the Weekend shift team.


Core Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Service Desk Team Leader, you will be providing 1stlevel ICT support to a large internal User base for desktop and business critical systems
  • Undertaking User Administration through Active Directory
  • The incumbent will be responsible for the delivery of effective and knowledgeable incident and service request management in accordance with policies, procedures and service level agreements.


Experience required

  • 3-5+ years of ICT service desk experience, where you have supported a wide range of ICT systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in the provision of excellent customer service.
  • Demonstrated experience in working with highly confidential material and ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive and confidential information.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • ITIL knowledge or experience
  • Use of a recognised ITSM e.g. ServiceNow, Marval etc.
