Role Description
Our local government client is seeking a SAP Functional Analyst responsible for delivering end-to-end ERP functional capabilities aligned with the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and Enterprise Portfolio and Project Management (ePPM) value streams. This role involves enhancing existing ECC capabilities within these streams and providing solution assurance, SAP process expertise, and overall guidance to System Integrator Vendors for the S4 Hana Project.
Responsibilities
- Lead by example in customer focus, treating all customers with honesty, fairness, and respect, while designing customer-centric processes and collaborating across Council to resolve issues.
- Promote performance excellence and a values-driven culture aligned with Council's Leadership Blueprint.
- Serve as a trusted contact for business stakeholders, advocating for the ISB Group and understanding stakeholder vision, strategy, challenges, and opportunities.
- Drive functional change through incremental improvements and projects.
- Collaborate with business and ISB stakeholders to define, scope, and prioritize new work, ensuring value and benefits are integrated into delivery planning.
- Provide functional consulting advice, leveraging SAP capabilities and best practices to meet business needs and exceed expectations.
- Work with ERP Platform team peers to ensure coordinated and integrated services.
- Govern external service provider deliverables, ensuring alignment with business expectations and compliance with internal standards and policies.
- Collaborate with the OCM Specialist to plan, develop, and roll out OCM deliverables.
Essential
- Proven ability to deliver performance excellence and foster a values-based culture.
- Highly developed communication, presentation, facilitation, and negotiation skills, with a strong focus on building relationships at all levels and exceptional customer centricity.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and management skills, with the ability to influence and achieve outcomes through effective partnerships with business, teams, and suppliers.
- Advanced problem-solving abilities, demonstrating insight in gathering, analysing, and applying key information.
- Extensive experience in SAP ECC and S/4HANA (EAM) environments, with strong knowledge of S/4HANA developments, such as Resource Scheduling for Maintenance Planner and Planning Buckets.
- Significant experience with SAP Activate Methodology and functional analysis and configuration in complex organizations.
- Extensive experience in multiple end-to-end SAP project implementations as a senior functional consultant.
- Ability to stay current with SAP EAM and S/4HANA developments, proactively identifying opportunities for optimization and innovation.
- Expertise in leading/supporting detailed design and configuration discussions, including the configuration of S/4 Asset Management hierarchy and related data objects.
- Proficient in conducting thorough testing of SAP EAM configurations to identify and resolve issues.
- Significant experience with SAP Geographical Enablement Framework (GEF), SAP Asset Manager, and Fleet Management.
- Experience with EAM integration across modules such as Project System (PS), Enterprise Portfolio and Project Management (EPPM), Material Management (MM), and Production Planning (PP).
Desirable
- Experience in a business function related to Enterprise Asset Management or Portfolio and Project Management.
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant or related discipline.
- Industry training and certifications in S/4HANA EAM.
- Experience with at least two full lifecycle S/4HANA EAM implementations.
