Our client is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to join their successful team. The team is responsible for building consumer applications to support the company's customers.

Your responsibilities in the role include:

  • Play a role in coordinating 6 - 10 digital front end applications projects at a time. Eg. Enhancements to the company's website - 45% of role
  • Mange project financials including journals, variance, forecasts and budgets - 45% of role
  • Project admin, risks and miscellaneous tasks that arise - 10% of your role
  • Follow up with the project team on timely closure of actions; escalate slippages to the Project Managers / Program Manager
  • Update project status in various data bases as requested by managers
  • Work with internal BA's and PM's to ensure good utilisation rates and kpi's are being met
  • Generate and analyse financial reports preparing summary of expenditure for the Program Manager
  • Review and adjust project schedules in response to delay with completing individual project tasks
  • Set up meetings, confirming attendance and taking meeting minutes

Successful candidates will offer the following skills:

  • 3-year experience with as a Project Coordinator
  • Experience working in large complex environments - preferably agile but not essential
  • Preferably digital or software application development experience but not essential
  • Ability to influence and work with personnel for whom you have no direct control
  • Can manage resources in a matrix environment
  • Ideally qualified or part qualified in a project management methodology
  • Strong project financials skills / used a tool like SAP or Integral
