Our Federal Government Client is looking for an Operating Model and Organisation Design Lead.
Job Description:
Reporting to the Senior Director Change and Transformation, you will work in close partnership and collaboration with key stakeholders, from senior executives to SMEs, to analyse the current interaction between people, process and technology, and codesign transformational change that is critical to embedding and sustaining transformation outcomes.
This role requires you to navigate complexity, have a broad understanding of industry best practice and guide stakeholders to new ways of working. You will also provide high quality documentation that reflects current, transition, and future state process to senior executives and relevant SMEs.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain a broad, organisation-wide view of the business and varying degrees of appreciation for strategy, processes, and capabilities, enabling technologies and governance
- Provide organisational models to define business capabilities, structures, functions and services that articulate the technology context of DDTS business processes with a view of the IT Strategy and corporate business plans
- Work with stakeholders and teams to gather and document the current business processes, user journeys, operating models, information requirements, capability needs and maturity
- Produce and write and deliver engaging documentation and presentations for management and the Executive
The role has an initial 12-Month contract with possible extension. It is the Client's preference for the work to be done in Canberra, ACT however they are considering remote candidate as well.
Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian citizens with the ability to obtain AGSVA Baseline Security Clearance.
