About the role
As Head of Architecture you will manage and lead their Enterprise Information Architect team. You drive the data solutions proposed across the business and deliver on creating new customer experiences by utilising the benefits of data. You will lead the team and will work with senior stakeholders across the business to drive data driven solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with the customers to understand their business problems
  • Complete business discussions, translate technology and manage the solution to delivery
  • create enterprise information architecture
  • Deliver to program outcomes
  • Develop an end to end architecture to fit client's needs
  • Drive the adoption of capabilities that drive efficiency for information architecture and data management, including Metadata, Conceptual and logical data modelling and Master Data Management
  • Identify technology gaps that are needed to support the client's requirements
  • Manage issues, risks, and dependencies for designed solutions
  • Follow QA and governance procedures

Experience

  • 15 - 20+ years Commercial IT experience
  • Must have previous commercial experience as Head of Information Architect or General Manager of Architecture or similar level of role
  • Commercial experience across a range of technologies like big data, applications, operational systems and/or business intelligence
  • Must have extensive experience working on large programs of work
  • Experienced in the management of teams up to 10 people
  • Can demonstrate managing technology gaps and the process impacting the customer
  • Proven experience working with banking or finance regulatory guidelines and governance policies
  • Must have TOGAF Certifications
  • Strong understanding of architectural frameworks
  • Experience in E2E enterprise architecture
