Our Federal Government Client is seeking an Enterprise Architect to lead the ongoing maturity uplift of their architecture practice and support a collaborative approach in lifting Business Architecture, Information Systems Architecture (Data & Application) and Technology Architecture. The successful candidate will be required to provide leadership across on of the Client's Divisions through producing practical artefacts and design guidance that enables both individual projects and specific business outcomes to be successful while simultaneously considering extensibility for reusable patterns and designs that can be applied broadly and streamline future work.
This is a 12-month contract role with two (2) potential 12-month contract extensions, located in Canberra with negotiable working from home arrangements (weekly on site - 3 days on site, 2 days remote).
The successful candidate must be able to satisfy the following role specific selection criteria:
Essential criteria
To fulfil the responsibilities of the role, the following criteria are considered essential:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience working in solution design/architecture roles.
- Experience in more than one technology architecture domain (i.e.
- application; infrastructure; security).
- TOGAF certification.
Desirable criteria
- Prior experience working with Commonwealth agencies is highly desirable.
- A sound working knowledge of DTA policies and practices is beneficial.
- Prior experience with cloud, no code/low code platforms, and data and or integration management would be highly regarded.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills will be highly regarded.
Due to security clearance requirements, candidates must be Australian citizens with active AGSVA NV1 clearance.
