As a key part of the Information System (IS) Support Team, you'll work in a dynamic environment with team members from Australia, Switzerland, and Canada to support business-critical systems for users across the globe. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to business users in the APAC region and globally for key trading and industrial information systems.
- Collaborate with business analysts and developers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Monitor system performance, proactively addressing and resolving data load issues.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders on issue status and progress.
- Take ownership of recurring issues and propose corrective measures to enhance system stability.
- Participate in application testing and development cycles to support business requests.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive product support documentation for internal teams and end users.
Technical Experience:
- Strong understanding of business information system architectures and the underlying technologies.
- Familiarity with IT development processes, including the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Proven experience supporting off-the-shelf or custom-built business information systems.
- Advanced SQL knowledge.
- Experience with job scheduler and orchestration tools such as Automic.
- Experience with middleware integration platforms such as Dell Boomi.
- Familiar with data warehouse platforms and ETL tools and processes.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS and the way cloud applications integrate securely into corporate enterprise networks (SAML, MFA, SSO, PAM, etc.).
- Experience with SharePoint/ SharePoint Online / Web Content Management
- SAP applications support (high level / functional)
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Tertiary qualifications in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and tools.
- Experience with business analysis methodologies.
