Our Federal Government Client is seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Wintel Engineer for a contract role in Canberra. Within this role you will be responsible for:
- Providing Wintel and VMware Infrastructure operations expertise
- Working with Project Managers to define and schedule deliverables
- Documenting Wintel and VMware solution options
- Contributing to the development of the overall IT Enterprise level architecture plans
- Liaising with project stakeholders as necessary
- Providing technical leadership
To be successful in this role you will possess:
- Minimum 3 years' solution operational experience
- Design experience across the following technologies:
- Windows Server Operating Systems;
- Active Directory;
- Microsoft SCCM, SCOM and SQL;
- Microsoft Hyper-V and VMM;
- Microsoft File and Print
- VMware vSphere and vRealize Suite;
- Microsoft Azure;
- Strong experience in implementing IT solutions for large, highly integrated government agencies or private organisations;
Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian Citizens who currently hold or are able to gain Federal Government Security Clearance to apply.
