UX/ UI Designer
Work for a leading organization in West Perth. Our client is looking for an experienced UX/ UI Designer to join their ambitious and respected team.
The role will enable you to be involved in the growth, innovation, and development of the service WA portal project. You will have the opportunity to design workshops, develop personas, convert designs into code, develop highly interactive prototypes as well as develop user flows and information architecture.
Responsibilities -
- Facilitate UX discovery and design workshops to help define business and end user needs
- Develop personas and user journeys as defined in the business requirement
- Develop highly interactive prototypes for the defined journeys
- Develop user flows and information architecture for the serviceWA portal
- Convert designs into code (end to end process) to support the development team
- Help estimate UX/UI efforts
Skills -
- Extensive experience in UI/UX/Web design
- High level of proficiency in UX/UI tools and approaches, including interaction design and visual design
- Experience in developing personas, user journeys, story mapping, user flows & information architecture artefacts
- Experience in wireframing and highly interactive prototyping solutions.
- Experience in mobile-first and responsive design
- Experience in core front-end languages: HTML / CSS / JS
- Understanding of accessibility principles in the context of UI/UX/web design
- Excellent presentation, organisational skills, and attention to detail
- The ability to meet strict deadlines and work under pressure
- Self-motivated, work independently and as a team player
- Efficient time management and the ability to contribute to multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong creative and technical design skills and the ability to take a job from concept stage to final delivery
- A proven understanding of emerging digital and information technologies
