About the Role
The Test Automation Specialist is responsible for the creation of test cases using own in-depth technical analysis of both functional and non-functional specifications.
Test Automation Specialist will:
- Support the delivery of quality assured ICT application services by providing advice and support in the adoption and use of established testing frameworks, processes and technologies, including automation and non-functional testing.
- Understand the business domain and how our customers use our products to optimise testing
- Develop, maintain and execute testing automation using established quality assurance frameworks, processes and technologies.
- Work collectively with the rest of the project team and be an integral part of our agile process ensuring we are building quality into products.
- Review ICT application testing artefacts to ensure test and quality requirements are met.
The position is full time on-site in our Canberra offices and requires at a minimum an active NV1 clearance.
You will have
- Demonstrated experience as an automation test analyst in a diverse, complex and integrated environment.
- Experience with configuring Azure DevOps Pipelines in regards to test automation scrips (selenium based) and CI/CD integration or similar tool experience.
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge in the development and maintenance of automation frameworks and automated test scripts using Selenium and Maven.
- Demonstrated experience with source code version control using a management tool such as GIT or similar.
- Demonstrated experience in effective communication and well developed oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
