Job Description:
The primary duties of the role include:
- Experience in understanding, consuming, and testing APIs, preferably REST APIs, but a background with other APIs should also be acceptable
- Proficiency in scripting with Python
- Understanding of CI/CD - what it is and what are the benefits (Bamboo, GitLab, JIRA, Nexus/Harbor)
- Understanding of functional, regression, Production Verification Testing
- Proficiency with at least 1 automation framework - Robot framework, Selenium, Cucumber
- Experience packaging applications with Docker
- Troubleshooting, analysis of an issue and collection of appropriate artefacts as well as communication of the same to relevant stakeholders
- Familiarity with the concepts of TDD
- Experience in testing in environments which are hosted in cloud
- Effective and clear communication to provide updates/status, define work, define issues, talk about defects to wider teams
