Our client is seeking an experience Telecommunications Technician to join their strong and establish team mobile radio networks team. The team is responsible for installing, supporting, maintaining and repairing customers telecommunications equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Providing swap outs, installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair support of customer telecommunications equipment and systems
- Installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair support of Client Radio Network systems
- Installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair support of Mobile Data Networks
- Installation and Maintenance of Operational Vehicle Electronic Systems and associated data networks
- Conducting line of site surveys
- Installation and maintenance of antenna and feeder cables on monopoles, roof tops and towers which will require regular climbing and heights up to 30 meters.
- Ensuring that QHSE / OHS followed
Requirements:
- Relevant certificate / qualifications in Telecommunications engineering
- ACMA Cabling Registration - preferred
- Drivers Licence
- 3+ years' experience with GSM/WCDMA/LTE radio access network equipment
- Experience installing and commissioning of DC Rectifiers, Batteries and DC power distribution, transmission systems including PDH, SDH, DWDM, ATM, IP and Carrier Ethernet
- RF Awareness Certificate
- Industry Construction Card
- Can work at heights
