Peoplebank is currently partnering with this brilliant organization to find them their next Technical Storage Engineer guru. Please note these roles are based in Sydney.

Are you passionate about the NetApp ONTAP storage environment - do you consider yourself the go to person for all technical related NetApp solutions within your current organisation? If so, we need to hear from you - this role will allow you to further develop your skills amongst some of the best in the business.

To be successful in this role, you will have proven 5+ years of experience working across core infrastructure technologies, with specific experience relating to Virtualization, Storage, Scripting & Automation, Networking and Windows/Linux operating systems.

You will have previously implemented, configured and maintained the following technical solutions:

  • NetApp ONTAP, StorageGRID, HCI
  • Networking (Cisco, Brocade etc.)
  • VMWare running Windows and Linux
  • Microsoft Active Directory and DNS services
  • Scripting and Automation skills
  • NetApp Workflow Automation (WFA)
  • OnCommand Insight
  • SNMP monitoring and alerting tools (OnCommand Unified Manager (OCUM), Graphite/Grafana, Zabbix etc.)

Furthermore, you will be working with clients face to face and ideally have previous experience within a Managed or Professional Services environment. Your ability to engage and build relationships with multiple Stakeholders and prioritise multiple tasks will be one of your strengths.

No two days will be the same, you will be supporting Enterprise clients within the Sydney region. If you prefer to be Micro-managed this is not the role for you. Our client prides themselves on encouraging and supporting a flexible work environment!
