Technical Project Lead
3 months with potential extension
Description:
Looking for an experienced Technical Project Lead to transition the department to a new environment which is cloud focused while continuing to support legacy applications. This project will analyse the current state of the departments IT environment, build the future state and manage the transition, it is expected that this project will take 12 months to complete.
This project work will include
* Co-ordinating Internal resources and external vendors
* Delivery of a new IT environment for the Department on Azure
* Procurement activities for key components of the future state
* Planning and implementing the transition in phases to maintain service to the business
* Ability to be hands-on when required
The skills you will need
* Experience in Azure - specifically Compute & Networking (Desirable)
* Experience in Administering Office 365 (Desirable)
* Broad IT expertise across Medium Sized IT organisation (Desirable)
* Knowledge of core networking services e.g. DNS, DHCP, AD (Essential)
* Knowledge of how enterprise networks are built including Routing, Switching, Security etc (Essential)
* Excellent organisation, planning and communication skills (Essential)
* Experience in similar merger and acquisition scenarios (Desirable)
