The Role:
Lead a team of vendor driven off-shore Developers, driving the design, architecture and development of the organisations game changing software. You will be responsible for leading the development, defining the technical architecture and communicating across all levels of the business to ensure the architecture of the platform scales as the business grows. Steering the development of a sophisticated platform that encompasses the latest technology, including; smart tags, IoT, Blockchain and AI.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, architecture and development of a revolutionary .NET platform
- Gather and document technical requirements to define the technical architecture
- Provide technical direction to the Development team
- Implement best practice, reviewing and updating coding standards and development and deployment processes
- Drive the technical roadmap, refining architecture to ensure scalability
- Stakeholder and vendor management
Skills and Experience:
- Commercial experience in leading a team of offshore/vendor Developers
- Proactive individual who has the ability to influence the direction of solutions delivered
- .NET MVC, C#, JavaScript (NodeJS or Vue.JS)
- Cloud experience: AWS or Azure
