The Role:
Lead and build a high performing Agile team, leading the day to day running of the Development team, delivering high quality code to future the direction of a cloud-based SaaS web application. Taking ownership and responsibility for software design, architecture and code quality and implementation of software design best practice and development processes - ensuring technical oversight across the software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of the software development lifecycle and quality of code
- Lead the design, architecture, development and delivery of high-quality code
- Define and implement best practice, coding standards and development and deployment processes
- Contribute to the architectural, technical vision and roadmap of the product
- Promote a continuous improvement and continuous learning way of working
- Provide technical direction and mentoring to the Development team
- Communicate and collaborate with key stakeholders
Skills/Experience:
- Development of SaaS web applications
- Commercial experience in leading design sessions
- Experienced in leading and taking overall technical direction of a Development team
- C#, .NET
- JavaScript, Angular
- RESTful services
- AWS (EC2, Elasticsearch, S3, Lambda functions etc.)
