Our client is seeking an experienced Technical Lead to join their integration team. The team is responsible for providing high level engineering support for Project delivery to major accounts/customers.
The role:
- Maintain a close relationship with the customer project team in a lead capacity
- Managing project engineering activities in accordance with the customer specifications
- Ensure that engineering resources are allocated to provide the most effective overall project outcome
- Review and approval of all technical deliverables
- Prioritising technical tasks
- Managing technical inter-dependencies between the sub-network projects
- Managing overall technical risk and issues
- Approving engineering changes
- Resolve potential project conflicts and escalate where applicable
- Manage project risks including contingencies
The candidate:
- Either lead experience or someone looking to step up to a team lead role
- Customer facing experience - Must
- Proficient in drawings, docs, rack layouts, tower construction and RF equipment
- Telecommunications background - Design, Construction, Deployment, Optimisation and Capacity
- P25, 2-way radio / VHF, UHF - highly desirable only
- Can aid the design team with constructability
- Technically inclined however the role will be Lead not hands on work
- Preferably understands both sides - deployment and technical equipment
