Our client, a large Managed Services organisation are looking for a Cloud Technical Architect to produce detailed design documents for the next generation Cloud platform working together with wider Cloud, Design Authority, vendors and partners achieving strategic objectives.
Responsibilities
- Generates design specifications for Private Hosted Cloud. May involve use of 3rd party designs and engagement.
- Directing and working with other Senior & Technical Architects.
- Developing and leading the technical approach for building technical solutions.
- Design enterprise solutions across multiple platforms and applications.
- Taking overall solution responsibility and ownership.
Experience/Qualifications
- Typically 8 to 10 years Architect and or senior engineering experience with minimum of 5 years of experience in Cloud technologies (VMware)
- VMware SDDC design certification desired
- Should have good understanding of major public Cloud platforms
- Exceptional relationship management & demonstrated ability in end-to-end design and consultancy.
- Ability to communicate on a senior level.
- Excellent mentoring and presentation skills.
- In-depth knowledge of technologies across a number of disciplines.
- Excellent problem solving, innovation, planning skills.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Mature and professional outlook.
